Previs Office tracks what an artifact is allowed to decide, which authorities it holds, and what must travel with the file before anyone builds from it.

The classes are cumulative. A higher class requires more authority; visual fidelity alone does not move an artifact up the ladder.
The warning label
What the image cannot tell you
A generic fixture can produce a photoreal lighting frame that is wrong about the physical rig.
The risk framework asks for photometric authority when lighting drives equipment or execution. The render alone carries no such warning.
